Four students received Student of the Month accolades earlier this month for their outstanding work and dedication to community.

Karina Folliard, Ingrid Lejins, Billy Hayes and Joe O'Brien were all honored as October Students of the Month at the Oct. 11 meeting of the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education.

As part of the honor, Brad Grcevic, of Edward Jones Investments in Lemont, makes a charitable donation on behalf of the students. Each student is encouraged to nominate a charity, and then the four must come to a consensus on which organization should receive the funds.
