Lemont High School encourages community to donate to Goodwill’s ‘Fall Haul’

LHS could win a free concert or other prizes by donating the greatest number of items Lemont Goodwill Store & Donation Center.

Members of the Lemont community can help Lemont High School by cleaning out their closets, tidying their garages and heading to one of Lemont’s newest businesses. Goodwill’s “Fall Haul Donation Challenge” - which runs from Nov. 1-30 - is an event in which all Lemont students, as well as the Lemont community, can participate.

Students, staff and community members are encouraged to take their gently used clothing and household items to Lemont’s new Goodwill Store & Donation Center at 1146 State St. Donors should mention that they are contributing on behalf of Lemont High School for the “Fall Haul” program.

Goodwill will track the number of items donated on behalf of the school - and the high school with the greatest number of items donated between Nov. 1-30 will win two iPads and a fee private concert with pop singer Cher Lloyd.
