Lemont Benet Students Named AP Scholars

Four students at from have earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards based on their AP test scores from last spring. The scores are graded out of 5. 

Chris Zakhem qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award, earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Brian Borosky and Bethany Hoster were recognized as AP Scholars by completing three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher.

Only 18 percent of the more than 1.8 million high school students worldwide who took AP exams through May 2011 performed at a sufficiently high level to merit these recognitions, according to a Benet release.
