UPDATE, NOV. 22: Remaining tickets for the show are discounted to $20.
Local band Infinity—a staple at Lemont’s annual Keepataw Days Festival—will bring the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra to Lemont High School this winter.
Operating under the name “Trans-Infinity Orchestra,” the band is hosting a series of holiday rock concerts in December called “Infinity Presents: A Night of TSO.”
Infinity will bring the show to Lemont High School’s Performing Arts Center, 800 Porter St., on Friday, Dec. 13. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and are available through Lemont High School’s website.
The concerts will tell the story of Christmas around the world using a musical ensemble, a choir, a snow machine and other surprises, according to the band’s Facebook page.
“To go beyond the Trans Siberian Orchestra Music, Tran-Infinity Orchestra takes it to another level, by playing many holiday favorites, and more,” the band said. “This is an experience for everyone young and old at heart. The Trans-Infinity Orchestra's goal is to include the entire theatre in its performance.”
