District 113A Seeks Volunteers for Finance and Audit Committee

Committee members will serve in advisory role to the District 113A Board of Education.

The Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A Board of Education is seeking volunteers to serve on its Finance and Audit Committee.

The committee is taked with providing support to school board members regarding financial and audit matters, and acts in an advisory tole to the board. The committee does not make decisions or partake in the day-to-day operations of the superintendent, business manager, treasurer or any other district administrators.

The committee will consist of board, staff and community members, with an emphasis on community patrons with knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting. The board is looking for input from the committee that will help with its use of public funds and give the community a better understanding of how the district is funded.
