District 113A Holds Special Meeting to Discuss Superintendent Search
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Old Quarry Middle School, 16100 W. 127th St.
The Board of Education will hold a special meeting Tuesday night to discuss its current search for the district's next superintendent.
According to the meeting agenda, the board will consider the criteria for the next superintendent so the Illinois Association of School Boards, , will be able to advertise the position appropriately.
The District 113A school board is tasked with finding a successor for current Superintendent Tim Ricker, that he will retire at the end of the current school year.

Most recently, IASB representatives conducted an online survey of board members, staff, parents and community members to determine desirable traits, skills and characteristics of the next superintendent.
