Every April in even-numbered years, the board considers organizational matters, such as filling board offices (president, vice president, secretary and treasurer) and setting dates for its regular meetings.

The board is expected to vote on its reorganization in May.

During Tuesday's meeting, the board will also consider the purchase of a new cooling system for the server room at Old Quarry, which district officials say "has not been operating at its peak capacity."

According to the agenda packet, the server room must maintain a consistent cooling temperature in order to preserve the integrity of the district's systems. Due to "functionality issues," the administration is recommending an upgrade to the current system at Old Quarry, which would require the installation of two new air conditioning units.

District 113A has already received three quotes for the upgrade. The administration is recommending the lowest quote from A. Dandy Cooling and Heating in the amount of $16,928.

The system will also require programming of the controller, installation of a space sensor, and labor and design. The additional cost for programming will be $2,290, according to the agenda.

The special meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at , 16100 W. 127th St.
