District 113A Board to Consider Staffing Plans, Construction Projects

The Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Old Quarry Middle School.

The Board of Education in Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A will discuss on Tuesday a series of summer construction projects and staffing plans for the upcoming year.

The school board will consider two staffing plans, one that includes the hiring of 8.6 additional certified staff members and another that includes two additional support staff members.

The staffing projections for the 2013-14 school year were included in the district's financial plan, which was approved by the Illinois State Board of Education on May 16. Although the overall staffing number remained the same, the administration has modified the recommended positions based on recent enrollment data and test scores.
