D113A to Offer Internet Safety Presentation in May

The district will bring in an expert in high tech crimes to lead the presentation.

Lemont-Bromberek District 113A will hold a public presentation on Internet safety in May.

The presentation will be led by Internet Safety Specialist Melissa Hemzacek of the Illinois Attorney General Office. Topics covered will include cyberbullying, digital citizenship, privacy, sites/apps most used by youth/teens, self- representation, sexting and online predation.

All District 113A parents, nonpublic school parents and community members are invited. Due to the subject matter, this presentation is for open to adults only. 

The presentation will be held May 19 at 7 p.m., at Old Quarry Middle School.
