Message From the Mayor

Town Hall Meeting on Public Education

On March 16 at 7 p.m., , and the Village of Lemont will co-sponsor a town hall meeting on public education in Lemont at the Lemont High School Performing Arts Center, 800 Porter St. I am urging every citizen of Lemont to either attend the forum or view it on local cable television. Comcast Channel 6 and U-Verse Channel 99 will show the program on March 29, April 1 and April 4 at Noon, 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Each school district will give an in depth report on the cost of public education and how your education tax dollars are being spent in Lemont. As Mayor, I believe it is important that the citizens of Lemont be informed voters on April 5.

— Brian K. Reaves, Mayor of Lemont
