In conjunction with National Voter Registration Day, the office of Cook County Clerk David Orr has organized a countywide voter registration effort at courthouses in suburban Chicago.

To kick off the nonpartisan voter registration drive, Orr, along with County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, Commssioner Elizabeth Doody Gorman and volunteer deputy registrars, will be on hand at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Markham Courthouse, 16501 S. Kedzie Ave., Room 238, in Markham.

Eligible voters can register between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at any suburban Cook County courthouse (See list below). To register, prospective voters should bring two pieces of identification, including one that displays a current address.
