District 113A Board: Aurelio, Molitor, Kelly Secure Seats

Four open seats are up for grabs on the Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A Board of Education. Write-in votes for Janet Hughes will not be counted for two weeks.

With all precincts reporting, the Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A Board of Education will welcome three new members, with a fourth to be officially determined in two weeks.

Michael Aurelio, David Molitor and Cynthia Kelly all secured board seats in Tuesday's election, according to unofficial results from Cook and DuPage counties. Al Malley was the fourth-highest vote-getter, but will not officially be named a winner until write-in candidate Janet Hughes' votes are announced in 14 days.

The leaders in Cook County were: Aurelio (14.9 percent), Molitor (14.9 percent), Kelly (13.7 percent) and Al Malley (12.2 percent).

The leaders in DuPage County were: Aurelio (14.6 percent), Laura Reigle (13.9 percent), Malley (12.4 percent) and Kelly (11.3 percent).
