Daughter of Sen. Christine Radogno Dies

Arrangements are pending.

The 31-year-old daughter of state Senate Republican leader Christine Radogno of Lemont died Wednesday night.

Lisa Radogno suffered a massive pulmonary embolism, according to a statement on Radogno's website. It's believed her death may have been related to injuries suffered in an accident last month.

Lisa was struck by a car last month in Washington, D.C. She had returned to Lemont to recover from injuries to her wrist and knees, but had recently returned to work in Washington. She fell ill Tuesday evening and was rushed to the hospital.

Lisa was one of three daughters of Sen. Radogno and her husband, Nunzio.  She served as an Executive Assistant in the Washington, DC office of U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk.

Arrangements are pending.
