Who Done It? Help Police Identify the 'Muffin Bandits'

Lemont Police and Patch team up, in a new feature where police ask residents to identify people seen in surveillance footage, possibly responsible for crime.

Lemont police are looking for help identifying two younger male white subjects. Dubbed the ”Muffin Bandits," they are wanted for retail theft that occurred on April 24 at 12371 Derby Rd. They were driving a full-size maroon or red pickup truck.

Anyone with information should call Lemont Police Crime Stoppers hotline at 630-257-6426 (to remain anonymous) or 630-257-2229 and ask for investigations.

This feature will be ongoing.

Information is provided by the Lemont Police Department.
Identification is not evidence of guilt. Police reports are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor.
