SATURDAY, JAN. 4
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Thomas Gavrick, 19, of the 0–100 block of Roberta Street in Lemont, was issued a local ordinance ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Singer Street. He will appear in local court.

FRIDAY, JAN. 3
No Valid License, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident
Emilija Steigvilaite, 20, of the 0-100 block of Lahinch Drive in Lemont, was charged with driving without a valid license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, following an accident in the 12300 block of Archer Avenue, around 11 a.m. She was given a Feb. 26 court date at the Bridgeview courthouse. 

THURSDAY, JAN. 2
Cell Phone Stolen
Someone took a Samsung Galaxy 4 from a counter in the 1200 block of State Street, between 5 and 6 p.m. 

Harassment by Electronic Communication
Joseph Magiera, 45, of the 1200 block of 71st Street in Downers Grove, was arrested for harassment via electronic communication, following an incident in the 16600 block of Sterling Drive. He was issued a Feb. 28 court date at the Bridgeview courthouse.
