Police Blotter: Windows Broken at Old Quarry Middle School

Wooden blocks from a nearby bench were used to break windows in two classrooms over the weekend, according to Lemont police.

Windows were broken in two classrooms at over the weekend, according to police.

Lemont Police Cmdr. Dan Tully said two windows on the south side of the school, 16100 W. 127th St., were reported broken Monday morning.

Individuals used 2-by-4s from a nearby wooden bench to smash the windows, Tully said.

There was no sign of entry to the building, he added.

Lemont police are still investigating the incident.
