Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Driving With Suspended License, Domestic Battery
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department and other agencies for arrests and incidents Aug.13-17. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Aug. 13
Driving while license is suspended
Darcie M. Seedan, 29, of the 2600 block of Lakeridge Drive in Lockport, was arrested by Lemont police at 8:33 a.m. at Lemont and Old Lemont roads. Seedan was charged with driving while license is suspended, and was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.

Nicolaus P. Resendiz, 24, of the 200 block of Cass Street in Lemont, was arrested by Lemont police at 10:36 p.m. in the 1100 block of State Street. Resendiz was charged with driving while license is suspended and suspended registration, and was issued a Sept. 24 court date in Bridgeview.
GPS unit stolen from vehicle

Police said someone stole a Garmin GPS unit with a black case from a vehicle parked in the 0-50 block of Cass Street sometime between 7 p.m. Aug. 14 and 6 p.m. Aug. 15.
Obstructing a police officer, underage drinking, other charges
Orlaith M. Ruane, 20, of 11400 block of Woodlawn in Lemont, was arrested by Palos police at about 2:14 a.m. in the 13000 block of S. Harlem Avenue. Police reports indicate police stopped a vehicle that was driving with only one headlight, and an officer said he saw the driver try to switch seats with a passenger.
Police reports indicate the driver, Ruane, was unable to provide a driver’s license. Ruane was charged with obstructing a police officer, underage drinking, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lighting and was given a $2,000 bond.
Friday, Aug. 17
Domestic battery
Marcus S. Malewski, 38, of the 13000 block of Red Drive in Lemont, was arrested by Lemont police at 3:37 p.m. after an incident at that location. Malewski was charged with domestic battery and appeared in the Bridgeview court for a bond hearing.
Violation of an order of protection
Martin S. Kobernus, 56, of the 1100 block of Evergreen in Naperville, was arrested by Lemont police following an incident in the 300 block of Front Street. Kobernus was charged with violation of an order of protection and appeared in the Bridgeview court for a bond hearing.
