Police Blotter: Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Speeding, Telephone Threat

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests and incidents Sept 24-29. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 24

Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, No Insurance, Speeding

Leo Paschal, 54, of the 100 block of Ashland Ave. in Chicago, and James V. Hoffman, 45, of the 5900 block of S. Hermitage in Chicago, were arrested at 4:43 a.m. following a traffic stop at New Ave. and 127th St.

Paschal was charged with theft, possession of stolen property, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and speeding, and was issued an Oct. 19 court date at the Will County Courthouse.

Hoffman was charged with theft and possession of stolen property, and appeared at the Will county Courthouse for a bond hearing.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

Telephone Threat

Joshua Wallace, 27, of the 8800 block of Sauk Trail in Frankfort, was arrested following an incident in the 700 block of Kruk St. Wallace was charged with making a telephone threat and was issued an Oct. 31 court date in Bridgeview.

Friday, Sept. 28

No Valid Driver’s License

Frederick F. Harvey Jr., 39, of the 2000 block of Washington St. in Joliet, was arrested at 2:26 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 15900 block of New Ave. Harvey was charged with no valid driver’s license and issued an Oct. 17 court date in Bridgeview.

No Valid Driver’s License, Failure to Yield to Private Drive, Failure to Reduce Speed

Juana P. Guerrero, 40, of the 900 block of Royce Road in Joliet, was arrested at 3 p.m. following an accident at Walker Road and Covington Drive. Guerrero was charged with no valid driver’s license, failure to yield to private drive and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was issued an Oct. 17 court date in Bridgeview.

No Valid Driver’s License, Improper Passing on Shoulder

Anthony J. Azzarello, 17, of the 200 block of Briggs St. in Joliet, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 12600 block of Archer Ave. Azzarello was charged with no valid Illinois driver’s license and improper passing on shoulder. He was issued an Oct. 31 court date in Bridgeview.

Saturday, Sept. 29

Suspended License, Speeding

David M. Campbell, 38, of the 12900 block of Archer Ave. was arrested at 9:55 p.m. following a traffic stop at Illinois and Holmes streets. Campbell was charged with driving while license is suspended and speeding, and was issued an Oct. 31 court date in Bridgeview.
