Police Blotter: Retail Theft, Traffic Violations

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made July 23-29. It does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, July 28

Retail Theft

Jennifer M. Balice, 30, of the 16500 block of 145th Place in Lockport, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. She was charged with retail theft. She was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.

Suspended License

  • Eduardo Diaz, 26, of the 500 block of Meeker Avenue in Joliet, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. in the 10800 block of Route 83. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. He was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.
  • Jessica J. Rivas, 20, of the 500 block of Algonquin Street in Joliet, was arrested at 7 p.m. near Main Street and Maley Road. She was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding. She was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.
Friday, July 27

Suspended License

  • Charles A. Flowers, 54, of the 100 block of S. 21st Avenue in Maywood, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. near Archer Avenue and State Street. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and disobeying a stop sign. He was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.
  • William J. Brown, 33, of the 1800 block of Arbor Falls Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. in the 10900 block of Archer Avenue. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance. He was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.
  • Marius Gincas, 20, of Lake Drive in Willowbrook, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. in the 10800 block of Route 83. He was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.

No Valid License

  • Francisco Martinez, 45, of the 6200 block of Albany Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. in the 10300 block of Route 83. He was charged with driving without a valid license. He was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.
  • Ismael Ramos-Rodriguez, 39, of the 15000 block Longmeadow Drive in Lockport, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. in the 10900 block of Archer Avenue. He was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance. He was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.

Revoked License

Luis I. Rubio-Avila, 30, of the 400 block of Edwards Street in Aurora, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. in the 10900 block of Route 83. He was charged with driving on a revoked license and no insurance. He was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.

Wednesday, July 25

No Valid License

  • Alicia Gonzalez-Zambrano, 35, of the 1200 block Jackson Street in Joliet, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. in the 16600 block of New Avenue. She was charged with driving without a valid license, speeding and no valid insurance. She was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.
  • James A. Korosek, 48, of the 1000 block of McCarthy Road in Lemont, was arrested at 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of State Street. He was charged with driving without a valid license, uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration and improper display of a license plate sticker. He was issued a Sept. 10 court date in Bridgeview.
Tuesday, July 24

Suspended License

Donald LaBay, 39, of the 15600 block of 159th Street in Homer Glen, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. in the 1000 block of Florence Street. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, suspended registration and no insurance. He was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.
