Police Blotter: Retail Theft, Possession of Marijuana

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made Dec. 5-11. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Dec. 9

Retail Theft

Barbara H. Zmarzlinski, 50, of 13 W. Division St. in Lemont, was arrested at 3 p.m. in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. She was charged with retail theft. She was issued a Jan. 19 court date in Bridgeview.

Thursday, Dec. 8

Possession of Marijuana

Three juveniles were issued ordinance tickets for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and tobacco following an incident in Heritage Woods.

Unauthorized Use of Credit Card

A resident who lives in the 1300 block of Arbor Drive reported an unauthorized use of her credit card.

No Valid License

Lukasz K. Korczak, 25, of 1035 Warner Ave. in Lemont, was arrested at 9 a.m. near State Street and Archer Avenue. He was charged with no valid driver's license and improper display of registration. He was issued a Feb. 12 court date in Bridgeview.

Speeding

Pedro Luvenao was arrested at 4:33 a.m. near State and Cass streets. He was charged with speeding and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. He was issued a Feb. 9 court date in Bridgeview.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

Suspended License

Marcin J. Ligas, 35, of 8532 S. Menard Ave in Burbank, was arrested at 10:23 a.m. near Archer Avenue and 135th Street. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and no front plate. He was issued a Feb. 9 court date in Bridgeview.

Off-Roading in Des Plaines River

Lemont police were dispatched to a call of a truck in the Des Plaines River. Officers responded, and located a gray pick-up truck belonging to David Pingel, who advised that he was off-roading in the river. The investigation was turned over to the Illinois State Police.
