Police Blotter: Residential Burglary, Theft, DUI, Domestic Battery

Residential Burglary

• Shavincia T. Wooden, 21, of 601 Cochise Court in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 325 p.m. following an incident on the 700 block of Illinois Street. She was charged with residential burglary, domestic battery and theft. She appeared at the Bridgeview court house for a bond hearing.

Driving Under the Influence

• Paul J. Glaum, 38, of 8500 W. 87th Street in Hickory Hills, was arrested at 6:34 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 10900 block or Archer Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence, no valid drivers license and expired registration. He was issued an April 26 court date at the Bridgeview court house.

Driving While License Suspended

• Marcus L. Riley, 24, of 12907 Barrow Lane in Plainfield, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. and charged with driving while license suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at 97th Street and Lemont Road. He was issued an April 12 court date at the Bridgeview court house.

Domestic Battery

• Edward W. Tiedt, 58, of 527 Fourth Street in Lemont was arrested at 3:13 a.m. following an incident in the 500 block of Fourth Street. He was charged with domestic battery. He appeared in the Bridgeview court house for a bond hearing.

Theft

• Police say someone took a pair of sunglasses and an iPod from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Covington Drive between 6 p.m. March 26 and 8 a.m. March 27.

Driving While License Suspended

• Moises Cabrales, 42, of 1420 W. 50th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 4:25 a.m. following a traffic stop at Route 83 and 127th Street. He was charged with driving while license suspended and illegal use of lighting system. He was issued an April 12 court date at the Bridgeview court house.

Theft

• Police say someone took a Garmin Nuvi GPS and currency from a vehicle in the 13000 block of Klappa Drive.

Domestic Battery

• Leon J. Chmielewski, 38, of 11861 Brown Drive in Lemont, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. following an incident at Camelot Lane and St. Vincent’s Drive. He was charged with domestic battery. He appeared at the Bridgeview court house for a bond hearing.

Driving While License Suspended

• Anthony D. Pacheco, 37, of 321 E. 14th Street in Lockport, was arrested at 9:25 a.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Timberline Drive. He was charged with driving while license suspended. He was issued a May 18 court date at the Bridgeview court house.
