Police Blotter: Nook, Clothing, Prescription Meds Stolen from Homes
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made May 23-29. It does not indicate a conviction.
Damaged Fountain
A fountain was damaged at the Front Street Lofts between 8:30 p.m. and 6:10 p.m.
Items Stolen from Vehicle
Leather gloves and miscellaneous change were stolen from a vehicle in the 0-50 block of Norton Avenue between 12 p.m. May 29 and midnight May 30.
Friday, May 27Man Leaves Scene of Accident
Concepcion Guerrero, 45, of 12 S. 181 Lemont Road in Lemont, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. following an accident in the 40 block of Stephen Street. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and failure to give information after leaving an unattended vehicle.

No Valid License
Daniel S. Krein, 40, of 2205 Stone Haven in Plainfield, was arrested at 9:38 a.m. near New Avenue and Timberline Drive. He was charged with driving without a valid license and no front plate.
Wednesday, May 25No Valid License
Richard A. Maslon, 35, of 5504 W. 81st St. in Burbank, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. in the 17300 block of 127th St. He was charged with driving without a valid license and expired registration.

No Valid License
Frank H. Rivas, 23, of 12606 Fairview Ave. in Blue Island, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. in the 15900 block of New Avenue. He was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance.
Stolen Items
- Various items of clothing were stolen from a home in the 900 block of State Street between 8:30 p.m May 24 and 12:30 p.m. May 25.
- Three rings left behind at a business in the 1200 block of State Street were stolen between 5:05 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
- A Barnes and Noble Nook was reported stolen from a home in the 300 block of Freehauf Street at 2:41 p.m.
Driving on Suspended License
Albert D. Bailey, 30, of 1115 Arthur Ave. in Joliet, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. in the 15800 block of New Avenue. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding.
Stolen Items
- Three 5-quart bottles of canola oil were stolen from a trailer in the 13300 block of Main Street.
- Clothing and prescription medicines were stolen from a home in the 900 block of State Street between 1 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
