Police Blotter: DUI, Order of Protection Violation, Vehicle Break-In
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made Aug. 1-7. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suspended License
David M. Demars, 43, of 1720 S. Ashland in Park Ridge, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. near 127th and State streets. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, expired registration and improper use of registration.
DUI
Joseph V. Purdi, 44, of 49 Sawgrass Drive in Lemont, was arrested at 9:56 p.m. near 127th and State streets. He was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage. He was issued a Sept. 21 court date in Bridgeview.
Wednesday, Aug. 3Vehicle Break-In
An unknown offender broke into a vehicle in the 1100 block of Berkeley Lane and rifled through its contents between 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, and 8 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.

Order of Protection Violation
Steven J. Mandell, 51, of 104 Ruffled Feathers Drive in Lemont, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. in the 100 block of Ruffled Feathers Drive. He was charged with violating an order of protection.
