Police Blotter: DUI, Hit and Run, Aggravated Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made April 23 – May 6. It does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, May 1

No Valid License

Israel Perez, 36, of the 2600 block of Keeler Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 6:25 a.m. near State and Logan streets. He was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and speeding. He was issued a June 4 court date in Bridgeview.

Monday, April 30

Hit and Run

Gary F. Carter, 42, of the 14200 block of Main Street in Lemont, was arrested at 8:49 p.m. near Peiffer Avenue and Walter Street. He was charged with hit and run, failure to give information, striking an unattended vehicle and improper lane usage. He was issued a May 18 court date in Bridgeview.

Thursday, April 26

DUI, Aggravated Assault and Battery

Amy L. Apke, 36, of the 0-50 block of Aspen Court in Lemont, was arrested at 1:21 a.m. following an incident at Lemont and Old Lemont roads. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. She appeared at the Bridgeview courthouse for a bond hearing.

Monday, April 23

DUI

  • Ewa Swierzbinska, 26, of the 600 block of Chesapeake Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Bell Road. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. She was issued a June 4 court date in Bridgeview.
  • Gregory A. Frausto, 37, of the 800 block of Gage St. in Joliet, was arrested at 4:19 a.m. near Archer Avenue and State Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was issued a May 18 court date in Bridgeview.
