Police Blotter: DUI, Battery, Stolen Items
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made Dec. 12-19. It does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Dec. 19
DUI
- Kenyatta Garrett, 27, of 300 N. Bluff St. in Joliet, was arrested at 1:21 a.m. near Archer and Parker roads. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. She was issued a Jan. 19 court date in Bridgeview.
- Samuel Vargas-Lozano, 42, of 1603 S. 50th Court in Cicero, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. near Route 83 and Jeans Road. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Battery
Jeffrey P. Worsech, 18, of Lemont, was issued a local citation for battery after an incident in the 700 block of Illinois Street around 7:25 a.m.
Stolen Cell Phone, iPod Touch
A cell phone and an iPod Touch were stolen between 11:05 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. in the 800 block of Porter Street.
Unauthorized Use of Checking Account
A resident in the 13700 block of Steeples Road reported an unauthorized use of his checking account.
