Police Blotter: DUI Arrests, Vehicle Break-Ins
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made July 9-15. It does not indicate a conviction.
Vehicle Break-In
A window was damaged and a black purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of State Street between 7 p.m. July 15 and 7 a.m. July 16.
Driving Under the Influence
Joseph V. Ruzich, 28, of the 13700 block of Steeples Road in Lemont, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. near State and Main streets. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was issued an Aug. 2 court date in Bridgeview.
Friday, July 13Driving Under the Influence
- Charles V. Aiello, 57, of the 0-50 block of Logan Street in Lemont, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. near Walker Road and Main Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was issued an Aug. 2 court date in Bridgeview.
- Guillermo Alva, 55, of the 19200 block of John Kirkham Drive in Lockport, was arrested at 11:32 p.m. in the 13000 block of Smith Road. He was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage. He was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.
Vehicle Break-Ins
- Valve stem caps were removed from a vehicle in the 40 block of Bossert Drive between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- Two keys and change were stolen from a vehicle in the 50-100 block of Logan Street between 8 p.m. July 11 and 8 a.m. July 12.
- A black wallet, currency, credit cards and a driver's license were stolen from a vehicle in the 0-50 block of Timberline Place between 10 p.m. July 11 and 8 a.m. July 12.
Driving Under the Influence
Peter J. Davis, 27, of the 0-50 block of Kingery Quarter in Willowbrook, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was issued an Aug. 16 court date in Bridgeview.
