Police Blotter: DUI Alcohol, Thefts, Domestic Battery

SUNDAY, JULY 28

DUI Alcohol

Juan M. Gutierrez, 32, of the 2700 block of 43rd Street, Chicago, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Lockport Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Gutierrez was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Semi-Trailer Stolen

Someone took a semi-trailer from the 13000 block of Main Street.

SATURDAY, JULY 27

Suspended License, Uninsured Vehicle

Michael M. Kundrat, 43, of the 16300 block of Springview Drive, Lockport, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. following a traffic stop at State Street and Archer Avenue. He was charged with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended and expired registration. Kundrat was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Cash, Credit Cards Stolen

Someone took currency, credit cards, a miscellaneous card and a checkbook from a vehicle on the 600 block of Warner Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. July 26 and 7 a.m. July 27.

FRIDAY, JULY 26

No License, Speeding I

Eduardo Cruz-Guzman, 37, of the first block of Chicago Street, Joliet, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont and Bluff roads. He was charged with no valid driver's license and speeding. Cruz-Guzman was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Radar Detector, Cigar Cutter Stolen

Someone took a radar detector, watch and a cigar cutter from a vehicle on the 16000 block of Sterling Drive.

TUESDAY, JULY 23

Forced-Entry Burglary

An unknown offender forced entry into a home sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the first block of Meagan Lane and removed more than $8,000 worth of jewelry. READ MORE: Police: $8,000 in Jewelry Stolen in Lemont Home Burglary

Domestic Battery

Anthony R. Melton, 20, of the 1000 block of Kip Place, Lemont, was charged at 3:15 a.m. with domestic battery following an incident on the same block. Melton appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

Paint Ball Gun Stolen

Someone took a paint ball gun from a vehicle on the 300 block of Lintz Street. The incident occurred sometime between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Juveniles were apprehended during the investigation of this incident.

No License, Speeding II

Maria Serrano, 30, of the 200 block of Williamsburg Court, Romeoville, was arrested at 9:42 a.m. following a traffic stop on the 600 block of McCarthy Road. She was charged with no valid driver's license and speeding. Serrano was issued an Aug. 8 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

MONDAY, JULY 15

Stolen Wallet

Someone took a wallet from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Crestview Drive.
