Police Blotter: Drug Possession, Theft, Graffiti

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made June 20-26. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, June 26

Illegal Transport of Alcohol

Manuel G. Ramirez, 10101 Ivanhoe Ave. in Schiller Park, was arrested at 4:32 p.m. in the 16300 block of New Avenue. He was charged with illegal transport of alcohol and driving without a valid license.

Traffic Violations

  • Aliriz Osorio, 23, of 5223 S. Cambell Ave. in Chicago, was arrested at 10:33 p.m. near 127th Street and Smith Road. She was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to dim high beams.
  • Jerry Del Courtney Robinson, 46, of 308 Lawton St. in Joliet, was arrested at 11:33 a.m. in the 10900 block of Lemont Road. He was charged with driving on a suspended license.
Saturday, June 25

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Thomas F. Ostrander, 30, of 19W645 Dystrup Lane in Lemont, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. near Lemont Road and Illinois Street. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving on a revoked license, no insurance and expired registration.

No Valid License

Richard A. Taylor, 56, of 1620 S. 48th Court in Cicero, was arrested at 7:50 a.m. near Lemont Road and Illinois Street. He was charged with driving without a valid license.

Friday, June 24

Traffic Violations

Cecilio Ascamilla, 28, of 13001 S. Chicago St. in Blue Island, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. following a stop at Main and Stephen streets. He was charged with no valid driver's license and loud exhaust.

Thursday, June 23

Traffic Violations

Juan M. Reyes, 29, of 730 Meeker Ave. in Joliet, was arrested at 7:59 a.m. in the 10900 block of Lemont Road. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and having expired registration.

Graffiti

  • An unknown offender painted graffiti on a building in the 400 block of McCarthy Road between 7 p.m., June 23, and 9:30 a.m., June 24.
  • An unknown offender painted graffiti on a garage in the 700 block of State Street between 12 p.m., June 23, and 2:30 p.m., June 24.

Theft

  • Arian V. Taylor, 36, of 409 S. Kilbourne in Chicago was arrested at 4:05 a.m. in the 16200 block of New Avenue. He was charged with theft over $500 and possession of burglary tools.
  • Anne M. Rego, 36, of 470 N. Kenilworth in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 4:05 a.m. in the 16200 block of New Avenue. She was charged with theft over $500.
Wednesday, June 22

Traffic Violations

Claude A. Lanier, 21, of 3325 Maple in Evergreen Park, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. in the 17300 block of 127th Street. He was charged with driving without a valid license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.

Monday, June 20

Stolen GPS

A Garmin GPS was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Keepataw Drive between 9:30 p.m., June 20, and 8 a.m., June 21.
