Police Blotter: Drug Possession, Items Stolen from the CORE
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made May 30 - June 5. It does not indicate a conviction.
Items Stolen from Gym Bag at CORE
A wallet, currency, driver’s license, U.S. Cellular HTC Desire cell phone and credit cards were stolen from a gym bag at the CORE Fitness and Aquatic Complex, 16050 W. 127th St., at 4:20 p.m.
Car Generator Stolen from Garage
A Craftsman air compressor and a Honda generator were stolen from a garage in the 300 block of Fourth Street between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m
Traffic Violations
- Jose Moreno-Hernandez, 49, of 2511 S. Pulaski Road in Chicago, was arrested at 12:23 p.m. near New Avenue and Brown Drive. He was charged with no valid driver’s license and speeding.
- David A. Swan, 44, of 1532 Spencer Road in Joliet, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. near I-355 and 127th Street. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance.
Drug Possession
Mark R. Lepore, 29, of the 300 block of River Road, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. in the 300 block of River Road. He was charged with possession of more than 500 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Suspended License
Joseph A. Batch, 29, of 7620 W. Norridge in Harwood Heights, was arrested at 3:04 p.m. near State and Custer streets. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and having a defective front windshield.
Thursday, June 2Underage Consumption of Alcohol
John J. Borzecka, 18, of 1106 Norwalk Road in Lemont, was arrested at 12:56 a.m. in the 700 block of McCarthy Road. He was charged with underage consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Speeding, No Insurance
Joseph M. Griffith, 21, of 13756 McCarthy Road in Lemont, was arrested at 12:42 p.m. near Archer Avenue and Oak Tree Lane. He was charged with speeding and no insurance.
Monday, May 30Traffic Violations
- Guillermo Ocampo, 25, of 2608 Bangor Court in Naperville, was arrested at 3 p.m. in the 16300 block of 127th Street. He was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and speeding.
- Javier C. Aguilar-Torres, 29, of 2113 Prentiss Dr. in Downers Grove, was arrested at 5:38 a.m. in the 10900 block of Lemont Road. He was charged with no valid driver’s license and no valid registration.
