Battery
Angel L. Gines, 36, of the 800 block of Singer Avenue, Lemont, was charged at 3:25 a.m. with battery following an incident on the same block. Gines appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.SATURDAY, AUGUST 3
Suspended License, No Insurance
James J. Esposito, 18, of the 20500 block of Acorn Ridge Drive, Frankfort, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. following a traffic stop at Derby Road and Archer Avenue. He was charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance and disobeying a traffic control device. Esposito was issued a Sept. 13 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.THURSDAY, AUGUST 1
Drug Paraphernalia
Brewster A. Aldridge, 30, of the 17400 block of Bluff Road, Lemont, was arrested at 6:21 p.m. following a traffic stop at Freehauf Street and Keepataw Drive. He was charged with possession of drug equipment, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked and disobeying a stop sign. Aldridge was issued a Sept. 13 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.TUESDAY, JULY 30
Juvenile Arrests
Three juveniles were charged at 4:38 p.m. with criminal damage to property on the 400 block of McCarthy Road.Retail Theft
A juvenile was charged at 2:01 p.m. with retail theft on the 13400 block of Archer Avenue.Paint Poured on Vehicles
Reports at 9:51 a.m. and 10:09 a.m. came in that sometime overnight, an unknown offender poured tan-colored paint on the doors and windows of a vehicle on the 16000 block and the 15900 block of New Avenue.Juvenile Jacked in the Face
Someone punched a juvenile in the nose at about 1:13 p.m. on the 1200 block of State Street, according to police.MONDAY, JULY 29
Controlled Substance Possession
Brandon L. Timko, 32, of the 800 block of Sixth Avenue, LaGrange, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 12300 block of New Avenue. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended and improper lane usage.
