Lemont police reports, May 8-19

SUNDAY, MAY 19

No Valid License

Oscar I. Garcia, 19, of the 2300 block of Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 3:10 p.m. following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Bell Road. Garcia was charged with driving without a valid Illinois driver's license and improper lane usage. He was issued an June 26 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Assault, Disorderly Conduct

James P. Macmillian, 26, of the 900 block of Baker, Joliet, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. following an incident on the 100 block of Stephen Street. Macmillian was charged with assault and disorderly conduct, and has a June 11 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer

Boguslaw Maczuga, 46, of the 2100 block of Country Club Drive, Woodridge, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont and Bluff roads. Maczuga was charged with obstructing a peace officer. He will appear at the DuPage County Courthouse at a future date not specified in the report.

FRIDAY, MAY 3

Retail Theft

Joliet residents Olivia Peralta-Tapia, 44, of the 500 block of Elmwood Avenue, and Maydelih Madrid, 30, of the 600 block of Blackhawk Street, were arrested at 12:33 p.m. following an incident on the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. Peralta-Tapia and Madrid were charged with retail theft and will appear at the Bridgeview Courthouse at an unspecified date.

Criminal Damage, Disorderly Conduct

Kenneth K. Schott, 29, of the 13100 block of Foxhill Court, Lemont, was arrested at 1:47 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 11400 block of Theresa Drive. Schott was charged with criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. He appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.
