Police Blotter: Arrests Made Oct. 16-23

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests made Oct. 16-23. It does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Oct. 22

No Valid License

Edgaras Piliponis, 19, of 1009 Florence Street in Lemont, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. near Freehauf Street and Keepataw Drive. He was charged with driving without a valid license and disobeying a stop sign. He was issued a Dec. 8 court date in Bridgeview.

Friday, Oct. 21

Driving on a Suspended License

  • Felipe Flores-Hernandez, 27, of 3708 W. 76th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. near Archer Avenue and State Street. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance. He was issued a Dec. 8 court date in Bridgeview.
  • Eugene M. O'Brien, 49, of 7341 Woodward Ave. in Woodridge, was arrested at 6:03 p.m. near 127th Street and Interstate 355. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance. He was issued a Dec. 8 court date in Bridgeview.

Thursday, Oct. 20

Driving 30-Plus MPH Over Speed Limit

Andrzej Laciak, 55, of 90 Rose Court in Lemont, was arrested at 5:31 a.m. near 127th Street and Covington Drive. He was charged with speeding 30-plus mph over the speed limit. He was issued a Dec. 8 court date in Bridgeview.

Suspended License

Carlos A. Rios, 29, of 6720 Alpine in Westmont, was arrested at 1:56 p.m. in the 15700 block of New Avenue. He was charged with speeding driving on a suspended license and speeding. He was issued a Dec. 8 court date in Bridgeview.

Full-day kindergarTen has a lot of fillers too: they eatRead More lunch, go outside, go to the bathroom, etc. I don't think our public schools allow snacks in the classroom anyway. Any teacher would know that learning starts at home, and a teacher would know how to supplement a kindergarten curriculum.
