Lemont police reports, June 3-9

SUNDAY, JUNE 9

Suspended License, Failure to Signal

Rita Diaz, 31, of the 300 block of North Hickory Street, Lemont, was arrested at 10:19 a.m. following a traffic stop on the 15800 block of New Avenue. Diaz was charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance and speeding. He was issued a July 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Suspended License, Failure to Signal

Gerardo Gonzalez, 42, of the 300 block of Peale Street, Joliet, was arrested at 4:31 a.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. Gonzalez was charged with driving while license suspended and failure to signal. He was issued a July 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Hit and Run

Joseph A. Cervi, 46, of the 13500 block of South Star Lane, Lemont, was arrested at 12:42 a.m. following an incident on the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. Cervi was charged with hit and run, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. He was issued at July 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

Order of Protection Violation

Michael D. Alello, 51, of the 16100 block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Tinley Park, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. following an incident on the 800 block of Porter Street. Alello was charged with violating an order of protection and appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

Aggravated DUI, Speeding

Eduardo Garcia, 24, of the 5900 block of West 87th Place, Oak Lawn, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. following a traffic stop at McCarthy Road and Archer Avenue. Garcia was charged with the following:

  • Aggravated driving under the influence
  • Suspended registration
  • Driving while license suspended
  • Speeding
  • Improper lane usage

Garcia appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

No Valid License, Suspended Registration

Marcial C. Rodriguez, 36, of the first block of Ohio Street, Joliet, was arrested at 11:18 a.m. following a traffic stop on the 16300 block of New Avenue. Rodriguez was charged with suspended registration for no insurance and no valid Illinois driver's license. He was issued an August 6 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

Domestic Battery

Lisa A. Underwood, 47, of the 1100 block of Berkley Lane, Lemont, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. following an incident on the same block. Underwood was charged with domestic battery and appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

TUESDAY, JUNE 4

Speeding 40 mi Over, No Valid License

Mantas Jurgaitis, 20, of the 20W500 block of Elizabeth Drive, Downers Grove, was arrested at 3:16 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 16600 block of New Avenue. Jurgaitis was charged with driving 40 mph over the speed limit and no valid Illinois driver's license. He was issued an August 6 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Speeding, No Valid License

Jose A. Perez-Rodarta, 31, of the 3200 block of South Laramie Avenue, Cicero, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 12600 block of Derby Road. Perez-Rodarta was charged with speeding and no valid Illinois driver's license. He was issued a July 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
