No Injuries Reported in Jeep vs. Semi Collision Friday

State police say Jeep driver collided with semi while changing lanes on I-55 at Lemont Road.

A driver was ticketed following a Jeep vs. semi tractor-trailer collision on northbound I-55 at Lemont Road at about noon on Friday.

According to a spokesman at District 2 Illinois State Police Headquarters in Elgin, the driver of the Jeep was changing lanes when he struck the semi tractor-trailer. Police said there were no injuries and road conditions did not appear to be a factor in the accident.

State police declined to release information on the ticketed driver at this time.
