DuPage DUI Arrests, Sept. 22 Edition

DARIEN

Sept. 2: Louis Plzak, 75, of the 300 block of North Whittaker in New Buffalo, Mich., was charged with driving under the influence, no driver’s license and improper lane usage. Plzak was arrested at 9:21 p.m. following a traffic stop near Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road. He was given an Oct. 1 court date.

Sept. 16: Emily R. Sulski, of the 800 block of Division, Lisle, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. on the 1500 block of Ogden Avenue. Sulski was charged with DUI alcohol and speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Her blue Honda Civic was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. She was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 16 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 15: Marshall L. Mccann, 39, of the 2300 block of Sunnydale Drive, Woodridge, was arrested at 2:38 a.m. at Maple and Durand. Mccann was charged with DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC greater than .08, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and speeding. His white Nissan Frontier was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. He was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 25 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 14:

  • Jorge A. Gamboa, 23, of the 4N200 block of Wooddale Road, Addison, was arrested at 3:16 a.m. on Ogden Avenue at I-355. Gamboa was charged with DUI alcohol, improper use of turn signal and improper lane usage. His white Subaru Wrx Sti was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. He was released on $300 bond and has an Oct. 25 court date in Wheaton.
  • Benjamin Roman, 68, of the 6400 block of Blodgett Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. at Highland Avenue and 31st Street. Roman was charged with DUI alcohol and driving on the wrong side of the roadway. His white Chrysler 300 was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. He was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 23 court date in Wheaton.

Sept. 13: Carly A. Biddenstadt, of the 7000 block of Camden Court, Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. on the 6200 block of Springside. Biddenstadt was charged with DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC greater than .08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal. Her white Hyundai Sonata was towed from the scene to an impound lot, according to a police report. She was released on an I-bond and has an Oct. 9 court date in Wheaton.

ELMHURST

Sept. 12: Georgia Young, 59, of the 17W300 block of West Stone, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over her silver Ford Escort at Grand and Church at 12:03 a.m. Police said she also was in possession of suspect cocaine. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

GLEN ELLYN

Aug. 25: Siavosh Khamissi, 32, of the 500 block of Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage. Khamissi was arrested at 9:25 p.m. at Anthony and Main Street.

HINSDALE

Sept. 15: Kevin V. Freymann, 26, of the first block of South Washington Street, Westmont, was charged with DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08 and no rear registration plate light. Freymann was stopped at 1:55 a.m. at 55th and Quincy streets for not having a registration light and weaving within the lane, according to police.

Freymann was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted a breath test that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was charged and released to appear in court.

Sept. 10-12: Michelle R. Beaulieu, 46, of the 5700 block of Sutton Place, Hinsdale, was charged with driving under the influence, suspended registration and driving while license suspended on both Sept. 10 and 12. During both traffic stops, she refused a breath test to determine BAC, police said.

Hinsdale police were dispatched at 9:55 p.m. Sept. 10 to a complaint of an intoxicated driver at Sutton Place and 57th Street near Beaulieu's residence. An officer observed Beaulieu to be under the influence of alcohol. She was charged and released to appear in court, according to the Sept. 10 report.

Police stopped Beaulieu again at 3:31 p.m. Sept. 12 at Garfield and Third streets for driving with suspended license plates. She was once again observed to be under the influence of alcohol, charged and released to appear in court, according to the Sept. 12 report. She was also charged with no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol during the second incident.
