Lemont police reports, Sept. 19-25

THURSDAY, SEPT. 26

No License, No Insurance I

Jose Garduno-Munguia, 34, of the 1800 block of 60th Court, Cicero, was arrested at 10:34 a.m. following a traffic stop at Main and Holmes streets. He was charged with no valid Illinois drivers license and no insurance. Garduno-Munguia was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Manuel Basco, 43, of the 3500 block of 61st Street, Cicero, was arrested at 7:02 a.m. following a traffic stop on the 15700 block of New Avenue. He was charged with no drivers license and no insurance. Basco was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 25

Telephone Harassment

Vicki M. Diggles, 48, of the 1200 block of 131st Court, Lemont, was charged with harassment by telephone following an incident on the 1100 block of State Street. Diggles was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 24

Suspended License, Failure to Signal

Joseph Westferro, 27, of the 13000 block of Bluegrass Drive, Lemont, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 15700 block of 127th Street. He was charged with driving while license suspended and failure to signal. Westferro was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Criminal Damage to Property

Robert L. Derbas, 18, of the 200 block of Cass Street, Lemont, was charged at 8:35 p.m. with criminal damage to property following an incident on the 300 block of Illinois Street. Derbas appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

No License, Failure to Signal

Diego Perez, 18, of the 1100 block of Ridgewood Avenue, Joliet, was arrested at 8:50 a.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Lockport Street. He was charged with no valid Illinois drivers license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal when required. Perez was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

DUI, Speeding

Mary Ann Gines, 35, of the 800 block of Singer Avenue, Lemont, was arrested at 3:07 a.m. following a traffic stop at Old Lemont Road and State Street. She was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and speeding. Gines was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 21

DUI, Reckless Driving

Zbigniew Tyrala, 38, of the 14500 block of West 136th Street, Homer Glen, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. following an accident at Archer Avenue and McCarthy Road. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. Zbigniew was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.


THURSDAY, SEPT. 19

DUI, Illegal Transport

Collin D. Rafferty, 18, of the 100 block of Timberline Drive, Lemont, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. following a traffic stop at Roberta Street and Timberline. He was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol 
  • Criminal trespass to state property
  • Illegal possession of alcohol by a minor
  • Illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor
  • Operation of an uninsured motor vehicle

Rafferty was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Theft

Robert G. Garber, 35, of the 500 block of Amherst Avenue, Romeoville, was charged with retail theft following an incident on the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. Garber appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing and was issued an Oct. 11 court date.
