Police Blotter: DUI Arrests, Retail Theft

SUNDAY, APRIL 7

DUI

Robert J. Warja, 51, of the 16900 block of Marilyn Drive, Tinley Park, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Timberline Drive. Warja was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and no insurance. He was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Speeding, No Valid License

Laima Zemgulyte, 37, of the 300 block of Windsong Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 8:52 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. Zemgulyte was charged with no valid license and speeding. She was issued a May 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6

Driving While License Revoked

Jake Peterman, 21, of the 1000 block of Crestview, Lemont, was arrested at 8:54 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont and Bluff roads. Peterman was charged with driving while license revoked, no insurance and speeding. He was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

THURSDAY, APRIL 4

No Insurance, Registration

Lauren E. Arnold, 23, of the 500 block of Bellarmine, Joliet, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and 131st Street. Arnold was charged with no valid license, no insurance and no valid registration. She was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Speeding, No Valid License

Maria Espinosa, 35, of the 400 block of Davison Street, Joliet, was arrested at 5:16 a.m. following a traffic stop on the 10900 block of Lemont Road. Espinosa was charged with no valid license and speeding. She was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

FRIDAY, MARCH 29

Driving While License Suspended

• Stephen M. Kelly, 61, of the 1300 block of Modaff, Naperville, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Illinois Street. Kelly was charged with driving while license suspended and no insurance. He was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
• Oscar Sanchez, 31, of the 100 block of Grove Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 9:14 a.m. following a traffic stop at State and Logan streets. Sanchez was charged with driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance and expired registration. He was issued a May 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

No Valid License

Anthony R. Kamande, 33, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:49 a.m. following a traffic stop at Illinois and Stephen streets. Kamande was charged with no valid license and suspended registration (no insurance). He was issued a May 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
