Omar Orozco, 36, of the 15600 block of Waterford Lane, Manhattan, Ill., was arrested at 2:44 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lockport Street and New Avenue. He was charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control device. Orozco was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
Suspended License and Registration
Jesus A. Sanchez, 36, of the 5300 block of Hamlin Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. He was charged with driving while license suspended and suspended registration for no insurance. Sanchez was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

DUI, Speeding
Janusz Loboz, 49, of the 13900 block of Persimmon Drive, Orland Park, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and State Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and disobeying a stop sign. Loboz was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Someone took the following items from a vehicle on the 50-100 block of Ruffled Feathers Drive:- MacBook Pro
- Two Belkin firewire cables
- Kensington-4 port pocket hub
- Computer case
- Seagate TB hard drive
THURSDAY, SEPT. 19
Suspended License, Speeding
Donald H. Walunga, 34, of the 1600 block of Sandy Drive, Joliet, was arrested at 2:02 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 16700 block of New Avenue. He was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. Walunga was issued an Oct. 18 court date at the Will County Courthouse.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 17
Theft
Preston R. and Danielle M. Gowens, both 18 and of the 200 block of Stephen Street, Lemont, were charged at 11 p.m. with theft following an incident on the 300 block of Short Street. Also charged in the incident was Robert L. Derbas, 18, of the 200 block of Cass Street, Lemont.The Gowens and Derbas were each issued Oct. 24 court dates at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
Car Damaged, Window Broken
Someone broke wiper blade arms, bent a vehicle antenna and used a rock to break a second-story window on a building. The incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Sept. 3 and 7 a.m. Sept. 17. on the 500 block of Talcott Avenue, police said.MONDAY, SEPT. 16
Soccer Gear Snatched
Someone took without permission soccer balls, soccer cleats and a Puma bag from a vehicle on the 700 block of Hickory Street. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 12 and 16.SUNDAY, SEPT. 15
DUI, Speeding
Byron J. Hood, 38, of the 900 block of Tucker Lane, Sanford, Fla., was arrested at 1:05 a.m. following a traffic stop at 127th and Walter streets. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Hood was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 13
DUI, Illegal Transport
Edwin J. Jerzak, 53, of the first block of Cour Versaille, Palos Hills, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. following a traffic stop at McCarthy and Bell roads. He was charged with the following:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol
- Improper lane usage
- Illegal transport of alcohol
- No valid registration
Jerzak was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
DUI, No Insurance
James A. Connelly, 73, of the 600 block of Singer Avenue, Lemont, was arrested at 7 p.m. following a traffic stop at State and Custer streets. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and no insurance. Connelly was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
