FRIDAY, OCT. 4

Stolen Property Possession, Suspended License

Julie A. Lafevre, 44, of the 11200 block of First Street, Mokena, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. following a traffic stop at State and 127th streets. She was charged with driving while license suspended, possession of stolen property and failure to signal when required. Lafevre appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

DUI, Illegal Transport

Cory B. Robinson, 42, of the 400 block of Lemont Street, Lemont, was arrested at 11 p.m. following an incident on the 200 block of Cass Street. He was charged with the following:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol 
  • Driving while license revoked
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Obstructing a police officer
  • Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident

Robinson was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Disorderly Conduct

Todd A. Eggers, 49, address not provided, was issued an ordinance ticket at 6:17 p.m. for disorderly conduct following an incident on the first block of Norton Avenue, according to police.

Drug Paraphernalia Possession

A juvenile was issued an ordinance ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident on the first block of Norton Avenue. The juvenile will appear in local court.

Suspended License, No Proof of Insurance

Joseph R. Martinez, 28, of the 2000 block of Wheatfield Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 11:44 a.m. following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and State Street. He was charged with driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance and driving without lights when required. Martinez was issued an Oct. 24 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 2

Revoked License, Speeding

Ubaldo Castaneda, 43, of the 1900 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, Berwyn, was arrested at 12:07 p.m. following a traffic stop on the 15700 block of New Avenue. He was charged with driving while license revoked and speeding. Castaneda was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

TUESDAY, OCT. 1

Disorderly Conduct

A juvenile was issued an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Pendelton Drive. The juvenile will appear in local court.


MONDAY, SEPT. 23

Battery, Criminal Damage to Property

Anthony M. Demma, 37, of the first block of Ruffled Feathers Drive, Lemont, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property following an incident on same block. Demma was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

DUI, Failure to Reduce Speed

Elizabeth R. Capra, 24, of the 11 South 400 block of Downers Drive, Lemont, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. following an incident on the 300 block of Lemont Street. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. Capra was issued an Oct. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
