SUNDAY, JULY 6

No Valid License, No Insurance, Violating Hands-Free Use

Jose Matavillegas, 31, of the 200 block of Riley Avenue, in Lockport, was arrested for no valid drivers license, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, and violation of hands-free cell phone use following a traffic stop in the 15900 block of New Avenue. He was issued a July 29 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

SATURDAY, JULY 5

No Valid License, Speeding

Jesus E. Herrera-Mojica, 29, of the 3300 block of S. State Street, in Lockport, was arrested for no valid drivers license and speeding  following a traffic stop in the 16600 block of New Avenue. He was issued a July 25 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Driving While License Suspended, Defective Windshield

Joel Mejia, 27 years of age, who resides at 512 E. Jackson Street, in Joliet, Illinois for driving while license suspended and defective windshield following a traffic stop in the 9700 block of Lemont Road. He will appear in the Dupage County Court House.

FRIDAY, JULY 4

No Valid Drivers License

Oscar Pulido, 39, of the 100 block of Dahlia Drive, in Romeoville, was arrested for no valid drivers license following a traffic stop at Main Street and Archer Avenue. He was issued a July 29 court date at the Bridgeview Court House. 

THURSDAY, JULY 3

Designer Purse Stolen from Car

Between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. an unknown offender removed without permission a Kate Spade Purse, a Gucci Wallet, a drivers license and credit cards from a vehicle in the 0-50 block of Pete Dye Drive. Anyone with information please contact the Lemont Police Department.

Driving on Suspended License, No Insurance, Disobeyed Stop Sign

Megan Tureaud, 25, of the 8500 block of S. Crandon Avenue, in Chicago, was arrested for driving while license suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and disobeyed stop sign following a traffic stop at Covington Drive and Overton Drive. She was issued a July 29 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 2

Burglary to Motor Vehicle 

Laura Mather, 34, of the 500 block of Main Street, in Lemont, was arrested for burglary to motor vehicle following an incident in the 800 block of Singer Avenue. She appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a bond hearing.

TUESDAY, JULY 1

Between July 1 at 5 p.m. and July 2 at 6:30 a.m. an unknown offender removed without permission a Lenovo Laptop and a Nikon Camera from a vehicle in the 900 block of Hillview Drive. Anyone with information please contact the Lemont Police Department.

MONDAY, JUNE 30

Driving While Registration Suspended

Valdas Griskonis, 53, of the 900 block of State Street, in Lemont, was arrested for driving while registration suspended following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of State Street. He was issued a July 29 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

No Valid License, Tinted Windows

Edgaras Lunskis, 22, of the 8900 block of Archer Avenue, in Willow Springs, was arrested for no valid drivers license and tinted windows following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of State Street. He was issued a July 29 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

THURSDAY, JUNE 26

Criminal Sexual Abuse

Javier Monroy-Velazquez, 19, of the 3300 block of Foxboro Drive, in Woodridge, was arrested for criminal sexual abuse following an incident in the 1000 Block of State Street. He was issued a July 25 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
