Brass Knuckles Go With 1 of the 22 DUI Charges Areawide

ELMHURST


NOV. 21: Peter Pereira, 27, 300 N. Larch, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his gold Honda Odyssey for disobeying a traffic control device at York and North at 12:08 a.m. He was released on bond.

NOV 17: Sean M. Cummings, 36, 1418 Surrey Road, Batavia, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after his black Mitsubishi Lancer allegedly hit a guard rail at County Line and Lake Street at 5:16 a.m. He also was charged with driving without insurance, disobeying a stop sign and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on bond.


GENEVA


NOV. 17: Geneva police arrested Mary Carlson, 29, of St. Charles on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding 42 mph in a 30 mph zone around 2:18 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 500 block of East Side Drive, reports said. She has a court date of Dec. 4 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles, IL.



GLEN ELLYN


NOV. 22: Melissa L. Powers, 48, 503 W. Exchange St., Sycamore, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after she was pulled over for improper lane use at Roosevelt and I-355 at 11:09 p.m.

NOV 21: Leonardo Aviles, 23, 18 N. Parkside, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a license, improper parking on the roadway and improper turn at Park and Pershing at 1:02 a.m.

NOV 19: George W. Generke, 59, 55 Tanglewood Drive, Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with DUI on the first block of Tanglewood at 2:14 a.m.

NOV 17: Isaias Jimenez, 30, 2604 Clarence, Berwyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI and driving with a revoked license after he was pulled over for improper lane use and driving without headlights at 12:48 a.m.

NOV 12: Valderrama P. Frias, 23, 1757 Avelon Court, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving without a license after he was involved in an accident at Bloomingdale and Geneva roads at 3:03 a.m.


HINSDALE


NOV. 23: Kevin P. Garvin, 51, of the 700 block of South Oak Street, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI, police said, after he allegedly crashed into a parked car near the intersection of Elm and 4th streets at 12:44 a.m., was observed by police to be under the influence of alcohol, and refused to submit to a breath best. Garvin was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released to appear in court.

NOV. 23: William R. Miller, 53, of the 8000 block of Edgewater Road, North Riverside, was charged at 12:10 p.m. with driving under the influence of drugs in April, police said, after a toxicology report showing he was under the influence of prescription medication was obtained by police and an arrest warrant was issued. The original traffic stop took place near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Route 83 at 3:38 p.m. on April 21, police said. Miller turned himself in at the Hinsdale Police Department, posted bond, and was released to appear in court.

NOV. 22: Brett Joseph Jensen, 22, of the 0-100 block of Kingsbrook Court, Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI, police said, after he was stopped for speeding in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue at 2:34 a.m., was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, and failed a breath test. He was released to appear in court.


LEMONT


NOV. 20: Liutauras Dovydaitis, 53, 4444 S. Tallman Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and no driver's license following a traffic stop in the 9700 block of Lemont Road. He was issued a Dec. 12 court date at the Will County Courthouse.


NAPERVILLE


NOV. 23:

  • Jean Jacques Dufrain, 38, of Yorkville, was arrested at 2:17 p.m. at the Naperville police Department, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. He posted bond.

  • Luis J. Deleon, 25, of Oswego, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. near Trade and Westbrook Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.

  • Randall Laverne Coffelt, 36, of Oswego, was arrested at 1:44 p.m. near Route 59 and Champion Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond.


  • NOV. 24:


    • Janey Ann Gosswein, 47, of Plainfield, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. near 75th Street and Ranchview Drive, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond.

    • Maren Therese Teeling, 32, of Oswego, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. near Three Farms Avenue and Book Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond.


    ST. CHARLES


    NOV. 24: Theodore Allen Provost Jr., 37, of the 100 block of Chapel Street, Elgin, was charged at 1:42 a.m. on the 4300 block of North 2nd Street (Route 31) with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and improper lane use. Police responding to a one-vehicle accident on North 2nd Street found Provost to be intoxicated. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.


    WHEATON


    NOV. 22: Daniel E. Zak, 29, of the of the 2200 block of Barrington Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Blanchard Street and Briarcliffe Boulevard on a charge of DUI. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

    NOV. 18: Alissa M. Andres, 42,  of the 700 block of Kingsbrook Glen, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 8 p.m. at Front Street and Liberty Drive on a charge of DUI. She posted bail and was released pending a court appearance.


    WOODRIDGE


    NOV. 16: Jacob Haury, 23, of the 2600 block of Meadowdale Lane, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, possessing drug paraphernalia and failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash after getting into a crash at about 9:12 p.m. in the 3500 block of Hobson.
