5 Charged With Mob Action: Police Blotter

Lemont police reports, Aug. 3-10

SATURDAY, AUG. 10

Garage Intruder Flees

Someone at 10:46 p.m. entered a garage on the 1200 block of Woburn Drive. The offender fled on foot, according to police.

Box Set Taken 

Someone took a package containing a "4-in-1 Box Set of Baldurs Gate and The Authentic Life of Billy the Kid," according to police. The incident occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Suspended License, No Insurance

Antonio Hernandez, 59, of the 3700 block of 63rd Street, Chicago, was arrested at 4 a.m. following a traffic stop at Steeples Road and Archer Avenue. He was charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance and improper lighting. Hernandez was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

FRIDAY, AUG. 9

Resisting Police, Trespassing

Jonathan R. Farmer, 21, of the 13000 block of Black Fox Lane, Lemont, was charged at 2 a.m. with criminal trespass to state land and resisting a peace officer following an incident on the 400 block of McCarthy Road. Farmer will appear at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

THURSDAY, AUG. 8

GPS, Costume Jewelry Taken

Someone removed a Garmin GPS, a phone charger and various costume jewelry pieces without permission from an unspecified location. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 9 a.m., police said.

Speeding 35mph Over

Sandra Cobo, 31, of the 900 block of Williams Street, Westmont, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and 109th Street. She was charged with speeding 35 mph over the posted speed limit. Cobo will appear at the DuPage County Courthouse.

One Week, Multiple Items Taken

Between July 29 and Aug. 8, an unknown offender removed the following items without permission on the 200 block of River Road: A floor jack, swivel ratchet, 12-in. extension, lottery tickets, currency, pliers, cigarettes, a phone charger and a counsel organizer.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 7

Walking Bridge Damaged

A walking bridge was damaged on the 1200 block of Arbor Drive. The incident occurred sometime between July 28 and Aug. 7, police said.

Mob Action I

San Antonio, TX, residents Robert Bermudez, 24, of the 500 block of Crane, and Paul Cubillos, 30, of the 400 block of Dickson, were arrested at 9 p.m. Bermudez and Cubillos were each charged with aggravated assault and mob action following an incident on the 800 block of McCarthy Road. They were each issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

MONDAY, AUG. 5

Disorderly Conduct

Carl J. Millraney, 25, of the 800 block of McCarthy Road, Lemont was charged at 10:43 p.m. with disorderly conduct following an incident on the 14600 block of 127th Street. Millraney was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Mob Action II

Lemont residents Michael R. Aseves, 42, of the 400 block of Holmes Street, Nicole M. Calibraro, 20, of the 12800 block of 107th Street and Brent R. Reinhard, 27, of the 400 block of Stephen Street, were arrested at or near 7:26 p.m. The three residents were each charged with disorderly conduct and mob action following an incident on the 800 block of McCarthy Road.  

Aseves was also charged with assault in connection to the incident. He, Calibraro and Reinhard were all issued Sept. 17 court dates at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

SATURDAY, AUG. 3

DUI Alcohol

Jose L. Barrera, 43, of the 2000 block of Whitecliffe Drive, Romeoville, was arrested at 11:58 p.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Lockport Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Barrera was issued a Sept. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
