Palos offers CPR & Pediatric First Aid for Parents, Grandparents

Palos Community Hospital is offering classes on pediatric first aid for parents and grandparents. This four-hour class teaches caregivers how to respond in an emergency by learning how to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques to assist infants, children and adults in distress. This class also includes a brief lesson in pediatric first aid and how to address common first aid situations.

The next pediatric first aid class will take place 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at Palos Community Hospital, 12251 S. 80th Ave., Palos Heights. The cost is $30 per person.
