Coats & Coffee Pots, Spatulas & Sweaters Drive

Those gently used winter clothes and shoes and the gently used dishes, pots, pans, appliances and utensils that you no longer want are all very much needed in homes right here in our community.  Many friends struggle to keep up with clothing and shoe needs of their growing children, or could really use some warmer clothes to wear to work.  Collecting all gently used men's, women's, and kid's clothing and shoes as well as any and all kitchen essentials and vacuums.  These are all items that are not in a very tight budget and if they're not needed at your home anymore I can help you put them in a home that does need them!   The winter clothing/kitchen need give away will be Nov 2nd (sorting on Nov 1st) donations will be accepted in the trailer through Thur Oct 31st.  The donation trailer is located in the Police Dept West Lot.  It will fill fast I'm sure so if you can't get to rounding up your donations until the end of October- that is ok :-)   I will be locking it in the evenings to secure your most generous donations!   This is a very anticipated day- many moms get their kid's winter clothing from this give away as well as many of our seniors who are on a tight fixed income.  Any ?s email hopeandfriendship@comcast.net
