In Memoriam: Paul Davidson III, Beloved Son, Brother, LHS Grad, Iraq War Vet

Paul Walter Davidson III, 30, of Lemont, died Friday after a tragic accident, hours before his graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  

Davidson transferred to the University of Illinois after receiving an Associate’s Degree in Architecture from College of DuPage. He was inducted into a national honors society for transfer students as well as the honors society for architecture majors.

Davidson was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving in the Marine Corps. in Iraq. Survived by his parents Paul W. Davidson and Corinne, nee Praschan, Davidson; his sister Elizabeth “Liz” Davidson; and his brother James “Jim” Davidson. Visitation Thursday 3 to 8 p.m. and Friday morning 9 to 10 a.m. at Calvary Church. Funeral services Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Church, 1375 State St. Lemont, IL 60439. Interment will be Saturday, May 24 at 9:30 a.m., at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
