Beloved Lemont Township Employee, 64, Loses Battle with Cancer

Visitation will be held Wednesday for a well-known and longtime employee of Lemont Township. 

Nancy Hoinacki, 64, worked at Lemont Township for 23 years and was the Township Administrator. She fought cancer for six years before losing her battle Thursday, July 10.

Nancy was married for 45 years to husband Drew; they had three children and four grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15 from 2 to 9 p.m., at Markiewicz Funeral Home, 108 E. Illinois St. in Lemont. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, at 9:30 a.m. from Markiewicz Funeral Home, to St. Patrick Church in Lemont, for Mass at 10 a.m. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate.
