Music and Musicians

For a few years now especially.There have been some great releases in metal music,Kreator,Shadows Fall and so on.The music is getting better than ever.I have only one major critisism.The production on most of this stuff is almost identical.To the somewhat trained ear,it all starts to sound the same.The stuff is getting very intricate and fast.I think most bands are heading in the same direction with uptempo,over digitized sounding stuff.Give me a somewhat moderate tempo tune,recorded not so perfectly almost analog and I'm good.

Any suggestions are welcome for me and others as far as great acts are concerned.Give us your take on it.
