Wanted: Gently Used Prom Dresses, Men's Formalwear for Resale

The Hope and Friendship Foundation's annual prom and dress clothing resale will be held March 1 at Community Christian Church in Lemont.

Clean out your closet and grab that prom dress only worn once—it's about to have another night out.

Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking donations for its 7th annual prom and dress clothing resale, to be held March 1.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Community Christian Church, 102 Stephen St. The sale offers clothing for special occasions such as prom, First Communion, Easter, graduation, Confirmation or others, at heavily discounted prices. The organization is currently accepting donations of prom dresses, as well as suits, ties, shoes and accessories.

Donations of gently used or new formal/semi-formal dress wear, dress shoes, purses and jewelry can be brought to the Lemont Township Office, 1115 Warner Ave. or Lemont Police Department lobby by Sunday, Feb. 23.
