Volunteers Needed For Final 'Mission Stay Saturdays'

The Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking assistance with its final two mission days, Aug. 17 and Aug. 24.

Lemont's Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking volunteers for its final two "Mission Stay Saturdays."

On Aug. 17 and Aug. 24, volunteers are needed to help with yard work and small fix-up jobs around town, according to Hope and Friendship founder Terri O'Neill-Borders.

The group meets at the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St. at 8 a.m.

Baked goods are needed to create care boxes on Aug. 24. Items can be dropped at the police station between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
