"Stick 'em Up" --a Look at Historic Lemont Heists

Join the Lemont Historical Society at THE VAULT, 308 Canal Street, formerly the home of First National Bank of Lemont, on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., as we recall the events of April 10, 1929 when 3 armed crooks from Chicago arrived in a brand new (stolen) Roosevelt sedan to stick up the bank, and roared away with a take of $9,200.  The restaurant has preserved the bank theme and the original vault from the bank.  Hear the details of this and other famous heists in Lemont history.
